Overall Ranking: ★★★(3/5)
Neighborhood: De Pijp
Gerard Doustraat 74 & Albert Cuyp 101-103
Wifi: yes, free
Power Plugs: not much. Two outlets at a long table and a few outlets in the lounge room…not suitable for working on a computer for hours. *There is a pull-out cord for the front table, but if you aren’t lucky to get this one, then you are…well…not lucky.
Size: small eating room, large cozy lounge, large store
Lighting: Gezellig. Warm. Natural. Cozy. Large windows in front, but a bit dark on a rainy day
Noise level: soft hippy music, some coffee-making noises, some soft discussion
Vibe: Hippy, Healthy, alternative, cushions, mismatched tables and chairs.
What we think: This place is fantastic in so many ways for a nice day of coworking. Firstly, the lighting and music is great and they offer an entire raw vegan menu for breakfast or lunch…#win.
More on the lighting, each light is a tiny ecosystem in itself…how cool is that!?
As for the vegan menu…so glad to escape the broodje! The large portion of kelp noodles was HUGE. I would definitely order the small next time. The witte smoothie was also very good.
For coworking – the lack of outlets makes us feel a bit unwelcome. Damn. We hope that they can run some more outlets to the ground or come up with another solution.
Would we go back? Yes. But not to work. The food was good…and we want to try the raw cakes!
We give it a 3/5 because of the powerplugs, food is a tad on the expensive side (because the ingredients are expensive…not their fault), and service is standard Amsterdam (not great).
