Keukenhof: Land of beautiful flowers

It’s that time of year where beautiful flowers are popping up everywhere.

When cycling to work, I pass loads of Narcissus…but nothing can compare to the flower park monster…the Keukenhof.

The Keukenhof is a short drive from Amsterdam and an extremely popular tourist destination in Holland. Why shouldn’t it be? It is the world’s largest flower garden planting over 7 million flower bulbs annually.

Since the weather is still quite cold, many of the outdoor tulips were still small, but the indoor exhibits were amazing.

Definitely a must see! But warning for vegans…the food choices are limited. There are some fresh fruits and french fries available…but I would recommend bringing  a snack  if you decide to visit 😉

Hi Jackie, Beautiful post and photos. Isn’t Keukenhof incredible? We lived in Amsterdam a few years ago and going to Keukenhof was always one of the much-anticipated highlights of Spring. Thanks for the great reminder. All the best, Terri
